I offer a balanced approach to piano tuition that is both academically rigorous and genuinely fun. I welcome students of all ages, from children as young as three to adults looking for an enjoyable and fulfilling hobby.

For my youngest students, I utilise specialised methods involving clapping, singing, and games to keep lessons engaging. I encourage a partnership with parents to help build strong learning foundations, ensuring that home practice is as enjoyable as it is educational.

For older students and adults, I provide opportunities to prepare for exams (AMEB, ABRSM, Trinity College London, and HSC) and participate in competitions, including the Sydney, St George, Hawkesbury, and Ryde Eisteddfods, as well as the Burwood Music Festival and Miriam Hyde Competition.

Beyond performance, I teach theory, musicianship, harmony, and composition to develop comprehensive skills in reading, analysing, and memorising music. Crucially, I teach students how to practice effectively. I believe that with the right teacher and approach, every student can be inspired to learn.
